Sexual, Reproductive and Mental Health speak to my core. As the Founder of Social Action Voice (SAV) a Faith based Fundraiser and Not for Profit Organization, l seek to help people in their healing journey.

I am a survivor of Gender Base Voilence and Abuse and as a Journalist I have been telling stories that inspire hope and positive change around my community. Today l have become a Family and Marriage Counselor for many.

Health is vital for all and building healthy homes can only contribute to make the world a better place. Communicating for Social change is and will continue to remain the goal of my NGO SAV and this entails studying patterns and trends via Data Driven Journalism.

Moreover, l can’t link therapeutic sessions with my clients if l am concerned and contented with my current level of growth. I want to be the best and this level of vision entails laying the ground work now. As a Writer and Content Creator thinking and working on innovative topics that can gain me an International recognition will be the pride of my 15years work in this Journalism field.

My Country Cameroon is going through alot of turmoil and Crisis and the Region where l am is badly affected. I hope to use my pen to be the mouth piece in my area. I tell stories that impact, free from stigma but that tickle the imagination and my focus is soft news.

If l cannot tell our local realities, who will, if l can’t share my story, who will, if l can’t effect the change l want to see, who will, l think it’s my Passion and purpose. It’s my greatest fulfillment in life. As a woman our Voices are underrepresented in most spheres of life and my Organization Social Action Voice is not ready to let this continue.

As a mother l want to see children affected by this crises healed from the emotional damage caused on their lives, self-esteem and mental health. As an Evangelist and Convener of Social Action Healing Ministries (SAHMIN), I use SOCIAL ACTION RADIO, a product of Social Action Voice, a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) to Reshaping lives and Empowering minds.

Peace is a much talked about concept in this dispensation and as a Journalist Peace Journalism is what we ought to preach and practice. The Peace agenda mustn’t only be championed by the Government, the Church, Schools or the Community.

It is the duty and responsibility of us all and that is why at Social Action Voice (SAV) NGO, we push Peace and pursue it with all our hearts.

As a Peace Journalist who has been involved in the domain for close to 5years, l use our Peace axis to train other budding Journalist during the period of Internship at diverse press organizations cutting through Print, Radio, School Outreaches, Television, Blogs and Online to name but these.

Haven gone through a series of trainings in Fact-Checking, Data-Journalism and Peace Building all l transmit accross this Program is what l have been fortunate to grap distinguishing between Fake and False News, Debunking and Benchmarking as concepts, Misinformation, Misinformation and Disinformation.

As a Trainer of Trainers, we hope in partnership with Social Action Healing Ministeries (SAHMIN) and Social Action Radio (SAR), we will push the agenda via education, sensitization, information and partnership with other stakes in Cameroon and the world at large.

Our tailored online courses will address the aforementioned niches in parts and stages. I am an Alumni and 1st Batch of the African Fact Checking Fellowship, a pioneer of the Talk Peace project, a trainee of the Coffee for Peace network YAPCEC Peace Academy amongst others. In this Program, we shall inculcate in women a sense of love and belonging. We will drill them on mainly Agriculture, Soft and hard skills acquisition and Mental Health awareness. Managing Small business operations for self autonomy, book keeping, saving income and follow-up is what will comprise the training. We are also bent on linking them to various Empowerment Centers so that by the end of their training, they will be self reliant in the community.

In Agriculture our focus will be on landscaping, crop cultivation, food processing, packaging, branding, marketing, urban gardening, the making of fruit juice, cocktails plus educative talks on Radio. In a nutshell, it’s dishing out survival skills to them from the sale of stuff like chips, water fufu, garri, cola-nuts, bitter-cola, chin-chin, dried fish, meat etc, via proper food conservation for profitability.
